An English born designer from Sunderland, I graduated from Northumbria University in 2002 with a degree in Fashion Design. During my time in school I worked with the locally known designer Nigel Cabourn for 2 years. Focusing on Menswear and Denim for Nigel's own brand as well as consultancy design for Ted Baker, Daks, Alpha Industries and Barbour.

From 2002 - 2004 my role was very specialized designing all elements of woven shirts.  Working on brands Van Heusen (UK), Peter England, Viyella, BHS, Moss Bros and Old England – I designed the full package from material selection to the labels and packaging.

In 2004 I moved to the USA to work for Abercrombie & Fitch. During my four years at A&F I had deep hands-on experience in wovens, outerwear, sweaters, and accessories. The wash house, material knowledge, and master crafts I gained at A&F took me to New York for an opportunity with American Eagle Outfitters. I spent 3 years there building 77 Kids from scratch - a kids brands influenced by AEO but more directed to the parent of the consumer.

Milwaukee Wisconsin came calling where I was recruited to launch a private label brand for Kohl's – a Young Men’s brand with influences from hard rock, skate, and moto.

My most recent corporate position was with Nike where I had many invaluable experiences working for Jordan Brand and Nike Golf.  During my time at Jordan I worked on projects with Supreme, Public School NYC, Just Don and OVO helping elevate the brand and stay relevant in the industry. A key project I worked on in Jordan came in 2015 when I established iconic silhouettes drafting off the original warm-up worn by MJ.  Designing for a global consumer opened up opportunities for me to design collections influenced by the APAC consumer and for moments like CNY.

During my time in Nike Golf I was the lead designer for Mens working with the full roster of Athletes including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, and Jason Day.  Designing a full range of products with innovative platforms for the global consumer, I focused on creating impactful collections while solving different climate and branding needs for the key markets of NA and APAC.

In 2018 I decided it was time to leave Nike to launch my own brand – something I had always wanted to do!  Inspired by my passion for the game of golf I created Origin Golf Club - a one-stop-shop for fun and immerging brands in the golf industry.  I focused on working with brands influenced by streetwear and skate who were changing the landscape of the game, partnering with local brands from Oregon as well as other US based brands. Origin Golf Club had two great years of success in the golf world retailing in the US and also in S.Korea and Japan.

I recently moved to Shanghai as part of a family journey, and I am excited to explore new experiences with global brands.
